Dear Parents,
We had a great 100 Week last week with lots of activities to explore 100. The shirts looked great and we enjoyed using the bags of 100 things for our math activity. We will continue with some of our activities since our week was cut short.
For Seasonal Math this Friday, your child needs to bring three of the valentines s/he receives tomorrow. We will be using them for sorting, classifying and graphing. If you would like to order books this month, book orders are also due this Friday.
This week, I will be testing all the students on the Dolch sight words. They will be bringing home a book on Friday that has ten words on each list. Each book has ten lists. Every week, I will test them on the current list. You will be able to track your child’s progress in the book. Each child will progress at their own rate, so I have more books as they are ready to move on.
There is no school next Monday and Tuesday, February 20th and 21st in honor of President’s Day. I hope you all enjoy the extended weekend!
Thank you!
